Gorillas in the Grist

Dark black appearance, no light shows through. Ripe banana, chocolate, and an alcoholic astringency that's a bit harsh on the nose. Syrupy sweet, ripe banana, bitter chocolate, like liquid chocolate chip banana bread. Sweet finish balanced with some chocolate malt bitterness. Body is moderate to full, solid thickness, but not too much so. Breweries need to use bananas in stouts more! This one was really tasty! There is always money in the banana stand.
