Lefse Pilsner

Very light golden color, and perfectly clear. Very floral, earthy, and sweet aroma. Very very bready, yeasty, maybe slightly toasty note, with floral hop character. Light body, but only a moderately dry finish. I did detect a slight off flavor of butteriness, hence the lower score on the taste. How midwest of them to make a lefse beer! For those that don't know, Lefse is basically the tortilla of Scandinavian culture, and it's made with potatoes. All in all, definitely a fun beer to try, and always enjoy how Junkyard thinks outside the box with stuff like this, so definitely gotta give them some creativity points there.
